Conversations with Supporters
The Qualitative Research Study into the Irish Donor
While most donor research focuses on quantitative research giving you a broad overview of your donors. Conversations with Supporters uses qualitative research to give you a deeper insight and richer understanding of who your donors are.
Conversations with Supporters is a consortium qualitative research project which allows charities to gain valuable insight into their donors at a fraction of the cost of a bespoke project. It also allows us to benchmark participant charities against one another. Previous participants of Conversations with Supporters include Dogs Trust, Trócaire, Cork Simon, Breakthrough Cancer Research, Barnardos, GOAL, Threshold, Arthritis Ireland and Friends of the Earth.
Because the more you know, the more you’ll raise
This rich qualitative research will peel back your donors' layers to reveal their thoughts, feelings and the factors that influence them to give and keep on giving. Imagine knowing the impact your donor's belief system has on their giving. Or how current conflicts, economic or environmental issues influence who they give to, and when and how they give?
This information will allow you to craft messages specific to donor segments and preferences. You’ll be able to connect with donors with the right message in the right way.
No more being guided by hunches and opinions. Conversations with Supporters will give you an in-depth understanding of your donors and their motivations. It will help you to build enduring relationships and multiply your income by creating a better, stronger, more targeted donor experience. By understanding your donor better you can:
- Improve your Cost Per Acquisition,
- Increase your Return on Investment, Response Rates and Lifetime Value
- Dramatically lower your rates of Attrition
Now ask yourself, can you afford not to take part? The cost of taking part in Conversations with Supporters is a tiny fraction of what this in depth insight will give you the capacity to raise.
